30 Great International Schools & Nurseries in Phnom Penh (2025)

Phnom Penh’s education landscape has improved significantly in recent years with new quality international schools added and existing schools improving their programs and facilities. Parents seeking a private education for their children now have a wide range of choices to suit their budget and curriculum preference.

As part of our annual school survey, CamboKidz reviewed dozens of school brochures, spoke with parents of school-age children, and – as much as possible – toured the campuses of education centers throughout the city. Our shortlist of 30 international schools and nurseries, the ones that met our selection criteria and impressed us most, remains unchanged in 2025.

There have been a few changes, however, as some of the schools and nurseries on our list have opened additional campuses or added grades since our last survey. More expansions are coming this year, and several new prestigious schools are slated to open their doors, adding even more options for local and expat parents.
