What makes the CamboKidz tutoring platform unique?

We are not a tutoring agency. We are a free service for parents. Our role is to help connect tutors and students in and around Phnom Penh. We don't charge users to view your profile or contact information. We don't monitor or restrict chats or correspondence between tutors and parents. And we don't take any cut on your earnings.

What are the requirements for creating a Tutor profile?

Our platform is open to everyone. We encourage individuals, learning centers and tutoring agencies to showcase their finest talents on our site. You must be a CamboKidz member to create a Tutor profile. If you're already a member be sure to log in to your account. If you're not yet a member, there's no cost to join.

Each CamboKidz member is entitled to one free Tutor profile and unlimited premium Tutor profiles.

What information can I include in my CamboKidz Tutor profile?

All Tutor profiles on CamboKidz, even free ones, include basic contact info and optional details such as your areas active, subjects taught and languages spoken. Upgrade your profile with a premium plan to show even more details, unlock benefits, and increase your profile's exposure.

What are the differences between the different plan levels?

The higher the plan level the more information that can be revealed on the Tutor profiles it is attached to – which can be a game changer when it comes to parents deciding on a tutor. Higher plan levels also get higher visibility across the site, and make it easier for parents to contact you. Click here for a comparison of the different plans.

How do I update my Tutor profile?

Once you have created a Tutor profile you can update it at any time and switch to a premium plan, or back to a free one. You'll find all settings for your tutor profile in your CamboKidz members section (you must be logged in to view).

Can I create multiple Tutor profiles?

Yes! Each CamboKidz member can create one free Tutor profile and as many premium Tutor profiles as they want. This is useful if you teach different subjects or want to maintain separate profiles for different specializations.

How do I purchase a plan for my Tutor Profile?

From the My Tutor Profiles page click on "Purchase New Plan" to view available plans. If you select a premium plan, a window will open with our banking QR for online payment. You don’t have to wait for payment confirmation - just attach your “Pending” plan to any of your tutor profiles and it will activate automatically once payment is confirmed.

Can I switch a plan from one profile to another?

Yes! Premium plans are attached to profiles, not locked to them. You can remove a plan from one profile and attach it to another at any time. This flexibility allows you to feature different tutors or specializations as needed.

How long do plans last?

Free plans last forever, while premium plan durations vary by type – expiring from 30 days to one year after the date of purchase. The expiration date is clearly displayed on both your Tutor profile and plans on the My Tutor Profiles page.

What happens when my premium plan expires?

When a plan expires, the attached profile will no longer appear in the Tutor Finder until you renew the plan or attach a new active plan.

Does CamboKidz charge commissions or take a percentage of my tutoring fees?

No. Our goal is to help you present your best tutoring talents to the local parenting community. Once a connection is made, we've done our part and we're happy to let you take it from there.

Do Learning Centers and Agencies need a special account to manage tutors?

You can use a regular CamboKidz account, but you'll need a Tutor Manager badge to verify Tutor profiles and access special agency features. Once you've signed up for CamboKidz, contact us and we'll set you up with an access badge.

As a Tutor Manager, your organization's name, logo and contacts (phone, email, website, Facebook) will appear on any Tutor profiles you create and manage – as well as a verification icon.

How do I get a Tutor Manager badge for my agency?

After creating your CamboKidz account, contact us through the support form or email. Provide your organization's details, and we'll verify your agency and grant you Tutor Manager status. This typically takes 1-2 business days.

If a parent wants to hire one of our tutors, do they contact us or the tutor?

Any Tutor profile created with your account will include your contact information (unless you decide you want to put the tutor's contacts instead). The parent can contact you through your linked phone number, email, website or Facebook page. Or they can click the "Send Message" button to send you an email, which will include the tutor’s alias and ID in its subject line.

CamboKidz aims to connect parents and tutors; we do not monitor or interfere once that connection has been made.

How do we create a profile for one of our tutors?

The process is the same as creating an individual tutor account. In the My Tutor Profiles page you'll find a Create Profile button. Once clicked, you can edit the Tutor's details. A tutor ID number is assigned automatically and cannot be changed. However, you can edit just about everything else, including an alias to appear in the tutor finder.

How many tutors can we show on the site?

As many as you like. The only requirement is that Tutor profiles must have a free or premium plan to be visible on the site.

What happens if we purchase a one-year premium plan and the Tutor profile we've attached it to finds work and is unavailable?

No problem. You can simply attach that Tutor plan to a different tutor's profile. You could even purchase a single premium plan and regularly cycle it through all your agency's tutor profiles, featuring a different tutor every day or week.

Can we update Tutor profiles after they're created?

Yes! You can edit any tutor profile you manage at any time. Simply click the "Edit Profile" button next to the tutor's profile on your My Tutor Profiles page.

Will our agency logo and information appear on Tutor profiles?

Yes. As a Tutor Manager, your organization's name, logo, website, phone number, email, and Facebook page will automatically appear on all tutor profiles you create. This helps parents identify your tutors as part of your verified organization.

Can we assign different contact information to different tutors?

Yes. While your agency information displays by default, you can customize individual Tutor profiles to show the tutor's direct contact information if preferred.

How do we manage multiple plans across all our tutors?

On your My Tutor Plans page, you can see all purchased plans and which profiles they're attached to. You can easily remove a plan from one tutor and attach it to another, allowing you to strategically feature different tutors throughout the year.

What's the best strategy for managing plans with limited budget?

Consider rotating a few premium plans among your tutors based on demand. For example, feature math tutors during exam season, or highlight new tutors to help them build their client base. The flexibility to move plans between profiles makes this easy.

Can we purchase plans in bulk?

Currently, plans are purchased individually and attached to different tutor profiles as needed. For bulk orders, contact CamboKidz and we’ll get you sorted.

I need to update my agency logo or contact information. How?

Contact CamboKidz support with your updated information. As a Tutor Manager, your organization details are managed centrally, so any changes will automatically update across all your Tutor profiles.

How do I create my first Tutor profile?

After logging into your CamboKidz account, use the login menu to open the My Tutor Profiles page. Click "Create New Profile" and fill in your details including subjects taught, experience, qualifications, and contact information.

What should I include in my profile to attract more students?

Be specific about your qualifications, teaching experience, and subjects. Include a professional photo, detailed description of your teaching style, areas where you're available to teach, and any certifications or specializations. Premium plans allow you to showcase even more information.

Can I list multiple subjects on one profile?

Yes! Each Tutor profile can have only one subject category (such as Academics, Sports or Music), but you can list multiple subjects within your profile’s selected category. If you want to advertise tutoring for subjects in more than one category, consider creating separate profiles to target the different student audiences.

How do parents contact me?

Parents can reach you through the contact information displayed on your profile (phone, email, Facebook, etc.). They can also use the "Send Message" button which sends an email directly to the inbox of the email you use for your CamboKidz login.

Can I change my tutor alias after creating my profile?

Yes, you can edit your Tutor profile’s alias at any time in the profile editor. Your alias is the display name that appears to parents when they browse the CamboKidz Tutor Finder. Note that aliases must be 3-25 characters and contain only letters, numbers, spaces, and these special characters: !@#&()-.

What photo should I use for my profile?

Parents want to see who will be teaching their children. It’s best to use a clear, professional photo that shows your face. Avoid group photos, selfies, or images with distracting backgrounds.

Of course, you can choose not to add a photo, or use any image really, but parents may be wary of tutors who avoid posting a real image.

Can I delete my Tutor profile?

Yes, but you can only delete profiles that have no plan attached. If your Tutor profile has an active or expired plan, you must first remove the plan before deleting the profile.

Can I create profiles for other tutors I know or work with?

Individual accounts are designed for personal use. If you're managing multiple tutors, consider contacting CamboKidz to upgrade to a Tutor Manager account designed for agencies and learning centers.

I have created a CamboKidz Tutor profile. Why is it not showing on the site?

Only Tutor profiles connected to a free or premium plan will appear in the Tutor Finder. If the connected plan has expired you can either renew the plan or connect another active plan for the profile to be visible on the site.

I purchased a Tutor plan, so why is it not appearing on My Tutor Profiles page?

Purchases and renewals of tutor plans are marked as "Pending" until payment is confirmed. This is usually done within an hour, but may take up to one business day to complete. You may need to refresh the My Tutor Profiles page once the plan is activated.

My profile shows "Profile has no plan attached". What does this mean?

This means your Tutor profile exists but isn't connected to any free or premium plan. You need to either attach an existing plan, or purchase a new plan and connect it, for this profile to appear in the Tutor Finder.

I see “The attached plan has expired" on my profile. What should I do?

Your profile has a plan attached, but the plan has passed its expiration date. Click the "Renew" button on renew this plan, or remove the expired plan and attach a different active plan.

I see "Profile will activate once payment confirmed". How long will this take?

Payments are typically processed within one hour but may take up to one business day. Your plan will be marked as “Pending” during this period. If your pending plan is attached to a profile it will activate automatically once payment is confirmed. If it's been longer than 24 hours, please contact us with your order number.

I can't edit my profile - what's wrong?

Make sure you're logged into the correct account that created the profile. If the profile editor won't load, try refreshing your browser or clearing your cache. If problems persist, contact us.

I tried to delete a profile but it won't let me. Why?

You can only delete profiles that have no plan attached. If your profile shows a plan (even an expired one), you must first click "Remove Plan" before you can delete the profile.

I can't create a new profile because I have “too many unattached profiles”. What should I do?

Each account can have a maximum of 5 unattached profiles. To create more, you need to either delete unused profiles or attach plans to existing profiles. This limit helps maintain site quality and prevents bots and spam.

My photo won't upload. What's wrong?

Ensure your photo file is in a supported format (JPG, PNG) and under the maximum file size (typically 5MB). Also check that you have a stable internet connection during upload, and keep the profile editor open until it is finished.

I accidentally removed a plan from a profile. Can I reattach it?

Yes! Go to your profile and click "Attach Plan." You'll see all your unattached plans and can select the one to reconnect.

How do I contact CamboKidz support?

You can reach us through the contact form on our website, send an email to CamboKidz support, or message us on our Facebook page. Include your account email and a detailed description of your issue for fastest resolution.

The page is showing errors or won't load. What should I do?

First, try refreshing the page. If that doesn't work, clear your browser cache and cookies, or try a different browser. Make sure you're using an up-to-date browser version. If problems continue, contact us.

-New Users: If you don't have one yet, please create a free CamboKidz account. Look for the yellow button at the top of the screen.

-Existing Members: Please ensure you are logged in to your CamboKidz member account before continuing. Your initial appears in the login bar when logged in.

2️⃣ Determine Your User Type

-Individuals: You're all set to begin. Proceed directly to Step 3.

-Learning Centers & Agencies: Contact CamboKidz to be set up as a Tutor Manager. This allows you to manage multiple tutor profiles under your organization.

3️⃣ Create Your Tutor Profile

Navigate to your "My Tutors Profiles" page.
- Tip: You can find this page in the members drop-down login menu or access it directly ➡ here ⬅.
Click the button.
Fill in and edit your profile details.
You can also preview what your tutor profile will look like with different plans attached by clicking the button.
Be sure to save, click the button before exiting.

4️⃣ Select Your Plan

Click on button.
Choose a plan for your tutor: Free, Bronze, Silver, or Gold. You can compare the features of each plan in the Plan Comparison below 👇.

Premium plans will show as "pending" until your payment is confirmed.

5️⃣ Go Live!

Attach your selected plan to the tutor profile you created in Step 3.
