CamboKidz Guide to Summer Camps 2025

Our annual directory of fun and educational programs for kids in and around Phnom Penh during the school summer break

The school year is winding down and parents planning to stay in Phnom Penh over the summer break, from mid-June to mid-August, are starting to think about summer programs for their little ones. Many schools operate on a limited capacity during the break, offering special day “camps” with instruction and supervised activities for children and teenagers. In addition, some of the city’s most esteemed sports academies, music schools and learning centers have their own tailored summer programs.

The camps typically run over several weeks and are priced and bookable on a weekly basis. For some, each day brings more instruction and progress toward mastering a skill. Others have themes that change – so your little one might learn all about dinosaurs during the first week, space exploration on week two, then maybe dabble in art on the third.

The majority of schools that offer summer camps let children of suitable age enroll, even if not registered at the school. This makes the camps an excellent opportunity for parents to try out a new school (or several schools) before committing to a full year.

You’ll find dozens of summer camps on our list. All include instruction in English or French, are suitable for both Cambodian and expat children, and are sortable by name, theme, organizer or start date.

CamboKidz offers online bookings for many of the summer camps that we list on our site. Look for the red “Book Now” button to secure a spot for your child. And whether you choose to pay online or cash on arrival there are no booking fees.

Our camp list keeps growing, so check back often.
