About
What better way is there to see Phnom Penh than to get out on the river and enjoy the sunset and city skyline? Dozens of river boats moor along the banks of the Tonle Sap river from the city's river cruise port as far south as the Arey Ksat ferry terminal.
Most boats operate from late afternoon until late evening, and are busiest around sunset. The boats are beautifully lit up at night, and the cooler air and backdrop of city lights makes this a great time to be on the river.
Cruises typically last 1-2 hours. Almost all boats will have a sound system you can plug into, and some offer karaoke. Others may have an onboard kitchen or BBQ.
You can pre-book a cruise or just show up and see what's available. But it is best to check a few boats before deciding, as there is a huge disparity in price, comfort and safety. If you're bringing your kids, make sure the boat has child-sized life vests.
Pricing
