Guide to Major Cineplex formats:
2D: standard format movie
3D: movie shown in 3D format that requires special glasses to watch (available at entrance)
4DX: movie augmented with environmental effects, including seats that move, snow, fog, wind and even smells.
IMAX: steep-sloped cinema that shows high resolution movies on a massive screen with surround sound.
Kids Cinema: cinema geared for young kids, with a ball pit, slides and ushers dressed as cartoon characters.
VIP: cinema with twin recliners or family-size sofas, pillows and silky blankets.
ScreenX: a triple-screen, 9 projector movie system that creates a panoramic wrap-around effect.
