This is one of the most popular spots for a picnic in the area, with a cluster of thatched-roof bamboo buildings lining a scenic oxbow lake.

You can choose a picnic space in the large communal bamboo platforms on stilts that extend like fingers towards the water's edge, or in one of the cozier private huts that float on pontoons in the lake.

Each space is fitted with hammocks, pillows and a reed floor mat. Food can be ordered from a menu, or brought in from outside. Most visitors stop at the large covered market nearby to pick up chicken, fish, salad, etc.

The huts are cleaner than the communal spaces, and are a terrific way to spend a lazy afternoon playing cards, listening to music or watching the small boats go by. You can also rent a boat and cruise around the lake or go fishing.

Kien Svay Krav Resort is poorly marked. Follow Prekpo Road to the entrance of the covered market. The resort's huts are reached by walking through the market.
