About
Looking for a cool escape from the tropical heat? Head to the Ice Dome, Cambodia's only full-size ice rink. Housed in a white dome right on the grounds of Dinosaurs Alive, this new recreation complex is a hub for figure skating, ice hockey, and scheduled public skate sessions.
Inside, you'll find everything you need for a smooth experience, including lockers for your gear and a spacious area with benches to lace up your skates. Spectators can grab a spot in the viewing area and watch the action unfold on the ice.
Don't have your own gear? No problem. You can rent skates and other equipment on-site. For those who are a little wobbly on their feet, super cute seal-shaped skater trainers are available - and not just for the kids!
Even though it’s sweltering outside, you'll want to dress appropriately for the chilly arena. For little skaters, a long-sleeved shirt or jacket, thick trousers or leggings, and socks are essential. For beginners who move more slowly, consider adding a sweater, gloves, and a hat to their outfit. But if you skate hard or spend an hour pushing a little one around on a seal trainer, you'll warm up quickly and might just find yourself shedding layers down to a T-shirt and shorts.
You'd be surprised how many people come off skating and make a beeline for the ice cream stand, one of several concession stands inside the dome to keep skaters and spectators full and hydrated.
