This mud-colored pond is a popular fishing hole that yields plenty of small fish and the occasional monster carp. Golden Fishing Rod restaurant has built wooden thatched-roof huts around much of the lake and charges a fee for fishing or picnics, unless you order off their menu. The restaurant will also cook up any fish you catch.

Foreigners in particular should confirm all costs in advance, as the restaurant has a reputation of inflating prices or tacking on extra charges.

The best fishing is in the morning or early evening. Bring your own rods and bait.
