About
Parents can soak up nostalgic memories of the 70s and 80s in this fun and quirky diner that serves American comfort food and pays homage to vintage Americana. And no need to worry about the kids - they'll happily tuck into the food here, which includes favorites like mac 'n cheese, chicken wings and smash burgers. Even the vegan options are tasty.
Hidden at the back of a small alley off Street 51, the small restaurant and cocktail bar is tight on space. There's seating at the bar, a few tables indoors and outside, and (if you arrive early enough) an L-shaped sofa with enough room for a small family.
The decor is vintage and whimsical. Food is served from a old camper van and the walls are adorned with old US license plates and other mementos. Even the bathroom has a groovy vibe.
Stick around after a meal. Board games are free to play, and you'll find Scrabble, Boggle, Pictionary and other favorites on the shelves.
You'll also find a retro Nintendo gaming console hooked up to an equally old CRT television, so you can introduce your kids to the classic cartridge games you played as a child.
