A wooden boardwalk that runs alongside the Bassac River makes for a pleasant walk, especially around dawn or dusk. Start at Yale Road where it meets the river and walk north along the boardwalk past The Elysee, a mixed use development designed to look like the Champs Elysees in Paris.

The development is still largely unoccupied, and most of the people you pass on the boardwalk are either out for a walk or snapping photos.

You can end the walk at Newton Street, or continue north past the CIS Rollerdome to the northern tip of Koh Pich. Bring a hat and sunscreen if you huff it during the day as there is no shade.
