This July, children are invited to explore, discover, and create through our Sensory Summer School Programme at Loft International Academy.

Designed for children aged 18 months to 6 years, our programme celebrates learning through the senses, with each day of the week focusing on a different sensory experience:

Monday – Hearing 👂 Sound, rhythm, music, and listening activities
Tuesday – Smell 👃 Scent exploration, herbs, and sensory discovery
Wednesday – Sight 👀 Visual creativity, colours, light, and observation
Thursday – Touch ✋ Hands-on sensory play, textures, and exploration
Friday – Taste 👅 Simple food preparation, healthy treats, and flavour experiences

Through engaging activities such as sensory bins, shadow play, drum circles, smoothie making, clay exploration, herb rubbing, and creative art experiences, children develop curiosity, confidence, language, problem-solving skills, and social connections in a fun and nurturing environment.

At Loft, we believe children learn best when they can actively engage with the world around them. Our sensory-focused programme provides rich opportunities for exploration while supporting wellbeing, creativity, and whole-child development in an environment designed with calm and individual development in mind.

📝 Note to Parents:
• Early drop off from 8am-9am
• A healthy lunch and 2 snacks are provided daily
