Trash Is Nice operates interactive recycling workshops designed for school field trips and organized groups. Following the Precious Plastic model, their programs teach children (and adults) about sustainability through hands-on, end-to-end processing of plastic waste.

During structured educational visits, participants sort plastic caps by type, watch mechanical shredders turn them into colorful flakes, and help fuse the material into recycled keepsakes like keychains and pots. By turning the circular economy into an engaging "trash-to-treasure" experience, the programs give participants a practical, memorable lesson in environmental responsibility.

Trash Is Nice HQ in Treellion Park also serves as a drop-off recycling station for plastic, bottles and cans.
