"Cambodia Knits celebrates the launch of Sovannmacha, the golden mermaid princess inspired by Cambodian mythology. A family-friendly day filled with stories, games, crafts and performances designed for little ones and their grown-ups.

Activities include storytelling and performances featuring Sovannmacha and friends, a puppet show by Gecko Garden, movie screenings of The Little Mermaid (original and new version), Mermaid Rhyme Time with Teacher Jessica for ages 0-6, face painting and mermaid crafts with Khraft, a treasure hunt where kids clean the ocean by finding plastic bottle caps, a coloring contest with a mermaid wall of art and prizes, photo corners to snap mermaid memories, and a real mermaid meet and greet.

Perfect for families with children, especially toddlers and young kids, caregivers, and anyone who loves mermaids and imaginative play"

12:00 – 1:00 PM

- Movie Showing: The Little Mermaid (new version)

- Meet a Real Mermaid (photo + interaction time)

- Puppet Show by Gecko Garden

2:00 PM (all day/ongoing)

- Khraft face painting & mermaid craft

- “Clean the Ocean” Treasure Hunt (collect plastic bottle caps instead of pearls)

- Colouring contest & display wall

NOTE: there is a large lily pond on the premises, an old swimming pool which has been repurposed, with a path around the edges and no guard rails. So families with smaller children may need to keep watch on their little ones.
